El Nicho Waterfalls

El Nicho Waterfalls, is located in the Cumanayagua Municipality. It is a beautiful area of forest and waterfalls in the mountains of Escambray. You can do a tour of approx. 1km long with different paths, passing natural pools and waterfalls. It is an amazing place for those who love ecotourism, combining the green forest, rivers, waterfalls and the beautiful farmers´ towns. You can also find several different species of birds such as mockingbirds, hummingbirds, and Cuba’s national bird tocororos, among others. Besides enjoying the nature and waterfalls, you can also enjoy the delicious food and good service of the restaurant Los Helechos, located in the park.

Entrance needs to be paid for the park which is 10 CUC per person.
